Mormon Row/Jenny Lake

Our last big day in Jackson...well we headed back to Teton National Park. Starting first at Mormon Row- Where as you can guess the Mormon's had settled at one time and now the Buffalo frequent and is a great place to watch them cross around noon going towards greener pastures. The Tetons looked fantastic and with the barns-ah, couldn't get enough of them.
The kids couldn't get enough of the horses and donkeys. A little something for everyone.
On the way out we were able to watch as the Buffalo were moving themselves to greener pastures. I guess something they routinely do everyday.
Then we headed to to one of my favorite places-Jenny Lake. We didn't have much time as there was much still to do-but we got souveniers and walked around the lake and got a few fun pictures.

Afterwards we headed home for one last swim and to see the famous Jackson Hole Shootout. It's changed a bit over the years-but still just as loud with all the gun shots.
We stopped by for more souveniers and found some great hats and sweatshirts for $5 a piece. This bear was not in our price range but the kids loved sitting in it!
Big man incharge leading the way as we cross the street back to the condo.
Let the Sleepover Begin....
John and I slipped out for what I expected to be a nice stroll through town. Instead we jumped in the car, stopped by the DQ for a Blizzard and then headed out to Jenny Lake to watch the sunset behind the Tetons and enjoy an almost eerily peaceful park. Who knew John was such a romantic? It was the perfect last night!
It's all come and gone too quickly-hopefully it won't be another 10 years before I make it back to Jackson Hole, Wyoming and Yellowstone park.
