Leithead Reunion

Halloween Night, Sunday Night we had a small Leithead Reunion as Uncle Scott, Aunt Pauline, Teandra and Ryan were up visiting. John's cousins Tracy, Jill, and Travis and their families all came and we had a lil Barbecue. It was fun to get everyone together and to catch up while the cousins played.

I honestly can't believe I forgot to get my camera out. I actually got to know John's cousins a little better, between that and watching after Tate I didn't even think about documenting the event. It was really fun to get everyone together and I hope it doesn't stop here.

I was slightly surprised we didn't get one trick or treater at our door.

I got a little ambitious-after I procrastinated buying McKenna's costume and it sold out I decided to maker her costume. How hard could it be? Well it was a little time consuming and well kind of fun being my first big completed project.

2 weeks since a posting. That's sad. So much to catch up on. Been a fun month, just need to share. Definitely Feeling the affects of no computer....

Pumpkin Carving

We finally made our way to WinCo on a cold, rainy and windy afternoon to pick out our pumpkin.

So thankful the farmers were nice enough to pick the pumpkins and send them so we didn't have to trapse through the fields and get all muddy. At least that's what our Dad told his family. Sounds good to me.

We found some great pumpkins and we had a great time carving them-even if McKenna thought they were a little yucky.

Today I found him at the sink where he had climbed the knobs to get to the faucet to turn it on and play in the water.

Where there's a will there's a way.

Another Happy Place-on his recliner we have moved into the front room.

He loves lounging in it watching Vackyardigans, reading books, and texting if he can get my phone.

Bargain Shopper

While shopping Tyler found a great deal on some Barbie Mermaid Jewelry that Walmart had on Clearance. Tyler is a great worker. She Loves to help out and she loves watching her money grow in her jar. She decided she couldn't pass up the jewelry to go with her Arial Mermaid outfit for Halloween.

She then Told me 2 days later that she was not going to be a mermaid for halloween but a princess. Either works. :)

Fall is in the Air and On the Ground

After the wind started blowing the leaves finally fell and the kids were THRILLED! Especially McKenna who ran out yelling she was sooo happy. They threw the leaves, raked them in a pile and jumped in them. They buried themselves in them. Chased each other and the dog with them. It was fantastic!

MLE-School Carnival

MLE had their annual Fall Carnival.

Our first time in attendance and the kids had fun.

McKenna was thrilled to run into her Favorite friend Sophie as we were walking in so we visited the various booths together. There was face painting, popcorn, Ghost Toss and Pumpkin Bean Bag Toss (where both girls won a prize), Floating ducks, Wall painting, among various other things we didn't get to.

Probably shouldn't be posting these since some might deam them inappropriate, but they were cracking me up this night. Couldn't help but catch a few pictures. Never know how much longer they will be small enough to all fit in the tub together.
