The girls and I got home last night and found the house painted and the hardwood floors in and I have to tell you right off, it's beautiful. I was a little bit nervous not sure what I"d think as I walked into my house to find it wasn't my house at all. McKenna said it best as we walked in, she exclaimed very excitedly, "a new house! where's my scooter". The girl has priorities but both her and Tyler love it almost as much as I do. Not only did my kitchen have a beautiful floor and paint, but new appliances. They were almost as pretty as the rest of the house. I love the new arrangement of our floor plan as the main floor just feels roomier.

First meal in the new kitchen as a family: Microwave Lasagna with elegant paperware. Lots of fun!

It looks great! Good Job! I can also relate to John's great thumb banage...cut my thumb pretty bad once and had an idenical wrapping for awhile. They called me thumbs at work. :)
Wow, I'm jealous! I want to go away for a few weeks and come home to a brand new house. I want hardwoods SO bad! You are a lucky, lucky lady!

MEL!! It is beautiful! I love the floors and the paint color. Can I come and live with you now?? YOu deserve it all and I hope you are enjoying being back home. YOur family is adorable! And through it all John still has a huge smile on his face..tell him good job for me:)
