Its Great to be 8

August was a great month for McKenna. She got everything she wanted! She turned 8 years old, her baby brother was born, her Grandma Payne and Aunt Elle came to visit, and she had not just one birthday party, but two.  What more can you ask for?

Her actual birthday started out with her favorite Pink pancakes.

She got a package in the mail from her cousins, that had a lil something in it for everyone!

 It was perfect!

The kids had a great time playing with Barbie and her friends all afternoon!

That night we had pizza and a few friends over for cake and ice cream. 

This is her favorite part, everyone singing it to her.

 Tyler found and bought this cute lil Lalaloopsy pillow all by herself. 

So excited to give to her older sister!

The Lego saga begins at our house!

A friend from school told her about Legos and she'd been asking for these for months!

 This laughs when you tickle it and is another favorite with all the kids.
It even travels and sleeps with her.

A few fun facts about McKenna as she turns 8-she Loves playing Barbies, she's a whiz on her rollarblades. She loves to Sing and Dance- especially dancing to songs such as "Glad you Came" by One Directions? She's got really good moves! She's a fantastic reader, loves playing with her sister, loves holding Cooper. She does not like to be hit by Tate or to be copied by any of her siblings. She loves Pink Pancakes, Taco Soup, new clothes, well new anything, and looks forward to the 2nd grade, a new school and most of all being baptized!
