Trip to 2nd Beach with Grandma & Aunt Elizabeth

With the upcoming birth of Cooper we were unable to take our annual family camping trip, instead John and the girls took Aunt Elizabeth and Grandma to our favorite beach as a day trip. I wasn't there but the pictures tell a pretty good story. Looks like it was a fun day for all!

The Big Safari Party

After dreaming of a big birthday party all year, McKenna couldn't wait to begin her birthday celebrations with friends.

As her mother with a newborn I knew there was no way this was going to happen without Help. Luckily help was here and Aunt Elizabeth and Grandma were kind enough to help us put this party together. Let the festivities begin...

It was a Safari Themed Party

 Treats for all the party-goers as well as the animals.

 Everyone brought their favorite Stuffed Animal

 or Borrowed One

We all went on safari to find the animals.

 When we got back we found that a Monkey had taken off with the birthday cake

 

Luckily he left a clue and so off we went to find it.-Clue Number 1to which I cannot find, but it -

Led us to the giraffe tree that held a treat-donuts to be eaten like giraffes.

But most without 

 They were pretty yummy!

Clue Number 3-Hippo mud bath-translates into eating pudding and digging for coins

 Finally our efforts were rewarded. The culprit was found in the Fairy Forest with our Cake
